Cyberpunk 2077 dev responds to “Are you surprised?”
A detailed content rating for Cyberpunk 2077 briefly appeared in the wild, but at least one developer is not too concerned about it.
The leak came from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and is retained for your review of Reddit. Although it indicates an age rating of 18 years or higher in Brazil and shows some of the events that we will encounter in this story, the leak is rather modest compared to the recently appeared “Last of us 2” spoilers.

In his post on his personal Twitter account, lead quest designer Pavel Sasco did not seem to be bothered by the apparent leak of ratings. In fact, he is surprised that you are surprised.
It seems that the categories were automatically translated, but I checked them and they correspond to the actual content descriptors. Here are some of the best hits:
The only content descriptor that pushes Cyberpunk 2077 into the “not recommended for children under 18” category is cruelty. This is how the Brazilian National Secretariat of Justice defines cruelty, according to the official brochure: “A realistic scene of violence in a sadistic way that causes severe physical pain.” Is cruelty more undesirable than sex? Honestly, it looks like the Brazilian rating scoreboard is right here.
However, the Secretariat makes a distinction between “intense sexual intercourse” – which can be a very realistic or lengthy scene that does not show the specifics of the act itself – and explicit sex, which falls under the same age advice as cruelty. So these sex scenes will not be too detailed.
